Ingredients:

  1. 250 grams paneer (Indian cottage cheese), cut into cubes
  2. 2 medium-sized onions, finely chopped
  3. 2 medium-sized tomatoes, pureed
  4. 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  5. 2 green chilies, slit lengthwise
  6. 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  7. 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  8. 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  9. 1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder (for color and mild heat)
  10. 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  11. 1/4 cup cream
  12. 2 tablespoons oil
  13. Salt to taste

Instructions:

Heat oil in a pan or skillet over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

Add the finely chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
