  • 750g lamb (bone-in, cut into pieces)
  • 2 onions (finely chopped)
  • 3 tomatoes (pureed)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1-inch ginger (grated)
  • 3 tbsp oil or ghee
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1½ tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp salt (or as needed)
  • 1½ cups water
  • 2 tbsp yogurt
  • 2 green chillies (slit)
  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)

☑️ Marinate the Lamb:

  • In a bowl, mix lamb with yoghurt, ½ tsp salt, and ½ tsp turmeric. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  • Heat oil/ghee in a heavy-bottom pan. Add cumin seeds, then onions.
